Spring Awakening

My kind of show. Deceptively simple design. Gutsy young performers giving their all. A well thought out and inspiring production about youth and life and love, based on a play from the last turn of the century.

And it’s a clear reason why we can never really know about the art that is created in our time – back then Wedekind, the playwright, was labeled as perverse and his work relegated to underground. Now 100 years later, it’s mainstream stuff, with themes that resonate loudly.
